It was another great year in Florida for the IAAPA 2021 convention. This year, things looked different from fewer booths than previous years of seeing booths outside, and finding parking up close was a lot easier. But one thing that didn’t change was the crowds of people who stopped by our booth to talk about laser tag. It’s always great to hear people wanting to get into this business and their plans on getting started. On a side note, we collected more leads this year than in any of our 11 previous years!
We noticed that many of our prospective clients who came by our booth discussed doing mobile laser tag. With that in mind, it was great that we introduced the Valkyrie at this year’s show as a replacement to our venerable and now retired Barracuda. People looking for mobile laser tag were excited to see we offer it in “Business in a box,” which includes six units per box. It’s a great way to start a small laser tag business and easy to take on the road for birthday parties, special events, and more.
The Valkyrie was the star of the show, but the irM4 made its debut comeback. We love the look on people’s faces when they see the irM4 and shoot it for the first time. It’s always been a favorite at the show, along with the shock belt. Stay tuned later this month for a video on that!
Not only was this year great for us at IAAPA, but we had fun doing team-building activities. We got to check out the Galaxy’s Edge at Disney, which was amazing to see the theming and try out all the rides in person. If you’re ever at Disney World in Florida, check it out, it’s worth it. We also got to feed some massive alligators and crocodiles at Gatorland, play some golf, and generally hang out as a team, talking about the past and discussing the future with our global partners.
We appreciate all of the clients who took advantage of the free tickets we provided, and we do enjoy meeting new clients and revisiting old clients. See you next year in Orlando!
