Spending time with our clients is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do, and our recent visit to Heroes Paradise was a perfect reminder of why we love being part of the laser tag industry.
As an iCOMBAT Laser Tag client, Heroes Paradise welcomed our team out to experience their facility firsthand. Not only did we get a behind-the-scenes look at their operation, but we also geared up and played several intense laser tag sessions against their team. It had been a while since many of us had stepped fully into player mode, and we quickly remembered just how much fun it is to play.
Tactical Laser Tag Under the Open Sky
One of the biggest highlights of our trip was playing on Heroes Paradise’s massive outdoor tactical field. For a few members of our team, this was their first time playing tactical laser tag outside, and it completely changed the experience.
We started gameplay as the sun was setting, watching the field transition into dusk, and then continued playing into the night. The changing light added a new layer of strategy and excitement, making every match feel unpredictable. For the mission, Sniper, we played in total darkness that pushed us out of our comfort zone and made finding the opposing team a thrilling and suspenseful challenge.
Heroes Paradise features two outdoor arenas, each offering a very different style of play.
Elysium is a 14,000 sq. ft. beginner-friendly arena that uses inflatables and water totes. It is the perfect introduction for new players and can also be used for their archery tag, making it a versatile space for groups of all ages and skill levels.
Hades is the heart of their tactical laser tag experience and spans an impressive 32,000 sq ft. This arena is divided into two unique environments. The Industrial side is built with shipping containers providing tight corridors for high-intensity tactical encounters. The Jungle side features a broken-down shipwreck, a crashed plane, and scattered crates.
Behind the Scenes with Tim and Julie
Beyond the gameplay, we loved spending time with owners Tim and Julie and getting a closer look at how they run their business. Touring the facility and seeing how their armory is set up gave us valuable insight into their operations and the care they put into creating a seamless experience for players. One of the most creative touches was how they integrated our equipment into their walking dinosaurs, which suit up and head onto the field during special occasions, taking the experience to a whole new level.
Big Waves Coming Soon
At Heroes Paradise, guests can also enjoy an interactive rock climbing wall, an RC track, and a full arcade, making the facility a complete entertainment destination.
Looking ahead, they already have exciting plans underway for 2026, including the construction of Epic Surf. Epic Surf will allow guests to surf on real deep water waves using real surfboards, bringing a completely new and thrilling attraction to the area.
