Did you know iCOMBAT was called Predator Games?

Our story began around 2007 as Predator Games, with a simple idea: create a way for paintball players to practice without firing actual paintballs.

Founder Rick Jensen Jr. developed a device called The Predator, a barrel attachment that transformed a traditional paintball gun into a laser-based training system. What started as a simple practice tool quickly sparked something bigger.

From Paintball Practice to Laser Tag

As customers began finding creative ways to use the technology for laser tag, Rick Jensen recognized an opportunity to take the concept further.

This led to the development of the Eagle Eye and Barracuda, both initially sold through Tippmann Sports as “Paintball Laser Tag.” The Eagle Eye featured a barrel and receiver that easily attached to any Tippmann 98 Custom marker, while the Barracuda took things a step further by integrating all the laser tag components directly into the marker itself.

The Evolution Begins

Between 2011 and 2012, Predator Games officially rebranded as iCOMBAT, marking a new chapter for the company as we shifted our focus toward bringing realistic, mission-based laser tag experiences to the entertainment industry.

In 2013, we reached another exciting milestone with the opening of our first iCOMBAT facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Home to Battlefield Baghdad, the 12,000-square-foot, two-story tactical laser tag arena was designed to bring a realistic combat experience to life. Featuring mud-style buildings, sandy asphalt streets, functional doors, stairways, and authentic props, the arena immerses players in a battlefield unlike traditional laser tag.

Built to Evolve. Built to Last.

Here's something we're especially proud of:

Our original Barracuda laser tag equipment remains compatible with newer generations of iCOMBAT technology!

While some original components have become obsolete over time, we continue to service and support legacy systems wherever possible, offering flexible upgrade options as our customers' needs evolve.

For nearly two decades, our equipment, software, and technology have continued to advance, but our commitment to innovation, quality, and long-term customer relationships has remained the same.

From our earliest laser tag systems to today's advanced laser tag equipment, we believe innovation shouldn't mean leaving our customers behind.

Different generations. One connected system. Nearly 20 years of innovation.

Here's to where we started, how far we've come, and what's still ahead! 🚀
